Happy Days...

Yesterday Katie and I had so much fun. We all (she, me, Eric, and Zach) all went out on the bike path and she rode her little bike. She did so well, and she would stop for every person she saw to ring her little bell. When we got back, Zachary had fallen asleep in the stroller, and so Eric took him for the nap, and Katie and I had some important one-on-one time. We drank hot chocolate, read stories, blew bubbles, chased Hailey outside, and I pushed her on the swing under the deck (but only a little - she wanted to work on pumping her own legs). Then she peed in her pants - oops! - right after Zachary woke up. So I took Zach and nursed him while dad helped her get cleaned up. Then we noticed that she is a little sick, so we had some take-out dinner and put her straight to bed.

This morning she was still a little sick, and so is our Little Guy! So I kept them home from Sunday School and only took them to worship. It was fun seeing our little friends Lily, Katrina, Hannah, and the rest of the little ones who have joined us recently. Zachary is getting into the stage where he is ready to go, go, go! He like to crawl underneath the pews, and today he got loose and ran down the side-aisle toward the front where daddy was! :-) He does remarkably well and stays unbelievably still in the pew on the whole for having so much energy and being so focused on gross motor development.

So now we are home, and I'm trying to get them well by tomorrow, when we have our first Mommy and Me playgroup since we posted the site on meetup.com. We have some new friends coming, and so I really want to be there!
